My google nest's stop command not working

My google nest recently wont stop the alarm when i say "stop". It must with command "hey google".

Why is that?

Hello there, aremanvin.

All Google/Nest products that have Google Assistant, will generally require you to say 'Hey Google ___' or something of the sort. It does not understand a lot of commands that does not start with the Hey Google. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

No...exception when you want to stop the alarm you just say stop...you dont need to say hey google

I stop alarms and timers by saying "Stop."

It was a hint in the early days by my device.
