My google next is frozen on the black G screen. Recovery and reset doesn’t work

Same here! I was listening to music on Spotify and all of a sudden the screen went dark, I unplugged, waited 10 seconds and then when it turned back on, the display did not go past the black screen with the G logo. I attempted to factory reset and that still is not working. I have tried for the past 3 days and nothing. We need your help GOOGLE!

@omarow2200@lilijefa95 - Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Hub. I'd like to know when does this issue started to happen? Since resetting didn't work, let's go ahead and try these steps.

  1. Place the device in Recovery Mode (unplug the device then hold down (long press) the volume up and volume down buttons while the you plug the device back in. Release the volume button once the device turns back on.)
  2. Attempt a factory reset once device boots into Recovery Mode (hold down (long press) both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.)

Let me know how it goes.

@Princesss I tagged you in another post and I tagged additional Google customers that are experiencing the same issue. Can you please reply there with next steps? I did try your recommendation and it did not work, I held down the buttons, plugged in, released the buttons, the recover screen populated on screen, I held the buttons once again until the countdown was done, released the buttons and still the screen does not go past the G logo black screen.
