My nest mini is having trouble with spotify

I ask my nest mini to play Spotify or whatever song I want. My Google will then repeat the thing I say like play "blank by blank" and she will repeat "playing blank by blank on spotify" but then no music ends up playing. What do I need to do to fix this? I've tried unblinking and reset
