My sound from my unit has gone down 50%

Thank you for your post. Oh no! That is not great to hear that your volume is fluctuating. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some questions.

  • Which Google device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Is this a new issue? Was your device having a consistent volume level before?
  • Is this also happening with all types of media? (Pandora, YouTube, Spotify, Radio, etc.)
  • Could you try to reboot and Factory Data Reset your device? Does the issue still occur? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 

    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
