Near mini hot - overheating

Wouldn’t turn on tonight. Checked it was turned on and found it was incredibly hot (not warm).

It hasn’t been used all day. Please help!

Thanks for posting in the Community. Google Nest and Home speakers and displays are built to operate between certain temperature thresholds. The recommended operating ambient temperature range for these devices, along with the bundled power adapter, is between 0°C (32°F) and 35°C (95°F).

Try unplugging your speaker or display from the power outlet and move it to a cooler (or warmer) location and wait a few minutes before trying to use it again. Your device has been tested under high performance conditions and that the temperatures are well within the safety limits provided by the (IEC) in order to pass regulatory requirements.
