Neat home mini won’t factory reset even when unplug/plug 10 additional tines

There were changes to my WiFi setup and I had to factory reset all my google home devices. They all connect now except the Nest Home Mini 2nd gen. I tried to oress the top with mic switched off but it did twirl. I tried unplugging for 10 secs and plugging 10 additional times (11 total) but it didn’t work. Your forums and help articles are now out of ideas. Is this worthless now?

What happens at each stage?

  1. On the side of your device, switch the mic off. Do the lights turn orange?
  2. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top.
  3. After 5 seconds, your device should begin the factory reset process.
  4. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more. Do you hear a sound confirms that the device is resetting?

@Frustrated111, we appreciate all the steps you've tried trying to resolve this. Could you tell us how many Nest Mini speakers are affected by this? Also, what's the distance between this Nest Mini from the router? Make sure that it is within 15-20 feet from the router once you set that up.

I’ve tried at various distances, including 5 feet or less ( plugged into the same outlet)
