Nes Hub 2nd Gen - no app launcher

Information on the web suggests that there should be an app launcher on my hub, provided the Cast firmware is above 1.56, however, I only get the normal controls and no app launcher when I swipe from the bottom of the screen.

Cast firmware is 1.56.276689.

Any idea why the app launcher is not there?

I bought the nest hub 2nd edition in 2022 and i never got the app launcher. I didnt even know it was a thing. Until I saw this thread and videos in YouTube. I will follow the instructions to enable it here in Greece

I found out if you just set the assistant language to American English then you get all the features only the Americans get. Just make sure to change the voice back. The stock one is British Racing Green.

You found that out, did you? Did you 'find that out' by reading any of the plethora of replies above, referring to Donmackó finding that out, by any chance?
