I am trying to setup a 2nd nest hub (new unit as of February, 23). I am able to connect to my WiFi network (Eero Pro6) and the hub updates itself and all steps in the Home app are followed (latest updated home version). The hub then displays a message to link account and tells me to open the home app, which is already open to do the setup. In the app, I find nothing about linking an account. I have done all of the above several times, including doing a factory reset on the hub and checking the latest software version and recycling the Eero. I finally called the Best Buy Geek Squad and there tech ran into the same dead end.
I see MANY inquiries about this issue going back a couple years. One would think Google would be all over this matter.

Hi DougH,
Thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue and the steps that you've done — these are of great help!
Could you try to check these router settings and after you adjust your router, set up your Nest Hub again and observe if it will make a difference?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Juni
