Nest Audio and Nest minis making a clipping/popping noise

I have experienced this issue on both my Nest Audio and Nest and Google Mini devices. I listen and am closest to the Nest Audio the most so I recognize it more often on that speaker.

When playing music either casted from my phone, or via a command to the speaker, the audio will make a clip or popping noise. This has been going on for several months now on all devices, at least some time since May or June if I can recall.

It does not seem to matter what audio service is used, it still clips/pops. This has happened with YouTube Music, Spotify and iHeart

I thought maybe it was a Preview Program issue so I left the program  and the issue persisted. So the preview program does not seem to be the root cause.

 

The Nest Audio does not have an Ultrasound Sensing option and neither does the Google Mini so I am not able to turn it off on those devices. The Neat Mini does have this option so I have turned it off on that device and it did not resolve it.

This is extremely annoying as I listen to music all day while working.

Mine does the same it will also stop the music for a few minutes.

We're sorry to hear about this. Since this issue is isolated on Google Nest Audio, has anyone of you already tried performing a complete reset? If not, here's how to do that: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

Yes, I have tried a complete reset and this is not isolated to just the Nest Audio. If you read this is also Nest Minis and Google Minis.
