Nest Audio pair stops playing when other speaker stops playing

I have a Nest Audio speaker pair and sometimes I get a very odd situation.

I’ll be listening in one room on a different floor of the house and the radio stops. If I ask my girlfriend if she asked her Google Home Mini to stop playing she says she did. I managed to recreate this and it seems that one speaker can stop another speaker pair.

One thing I noted was that both were listening to the same radio at the same time.

How can I stop this happening?

Used to have same issue and I disconnected the offending speaker from the wifi and added it again, it worked.

Thanks @TheSouthAfrican I actually reset the whole pair, which is quite an effort. It’s happening less now, but every now and then catches me out when the music stops.
