Nest Display doesn't show up as a Wifi Network

I've factory reset my Nest Display and it shows the Setup Screen with the bottom right corner saying:

"NestHub95FA", but in my Wifi Settings of either my iPhone nor my Google Pixel I can't find the device.

When I try setting it up through my Google Home App, it doesn't find it either and always pulls me back to the screen where it asks what kind of device i'm trying to set up.

Did anybody have the same experience?

Hello Pisus,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when you're having issues setting up your Google Nest Hub. I'd love to help.

Let's try these steps below:

  1. Make sure that the mobile data on your phone is disabled.
  2. Use an updated Google Home app. Check out the Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS devices.
  3. Make sure that your Nest Hub is within 15–20 feet of the router and 5 feet away from you during set-up. This is to make sure that your device is getting enough signal from the router and communicates well with the setup device.
  4. To discover Cast-enabled devices using Android, please open your mobile device's Settings > Enable Use Network Information > Continue.
  5. For iOS devices, make sure that you turn on Bluetooth and location services. Open the device's Settings app, tap Security & Location, and then Location > Turn on Use Location.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
