Nest Hub 2nd Gen

Is there a way to keep my Goggle Hub to stay connected to my front doorbell camera?

Would like to be able to see how is at the door without going thru a lot of unnecessary items?

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP WITH THIS

What happens in your situation? We are able to say "Hey Google, show the Front Door" on any of our Nest Hubs to stream the front doorbell's camera. We can do the same thing with the side door and back door doorbell cameras. Sometimes we continue streaming if we're expecting someone, and do not have issues with that. We have the older Google Nest Hello Doorbells.

Hi folks.

@MplsCustomer, thanks for helping.

@GuyV, thank you for posting. A few things: which Nest speakers and doorbell are we working with? Is it the Nest Hub or the Nest Hub 2nd Gen with a Nest Doorbell?? Were there any recent changes made? Are you not able to stream your front doorbell camera long enough? What is the error message you're receiving when streaming? It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

For additional information, check out this guide.

Best,

Dan
