When I view my camera's the screen picture is showing like a photo negative image. I went to the accessibility setting and turned off the "Invert Photo" option and unplugged it for a minute but that doesn't work.

Hi Passionfruit525,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand that your Nest Hub Max is displaying a photo negative or inverted image when you view your camera feeds, and the issue persists even after you turned off the “Inverted Photo” accessibility setting and rebooted the display. I appreciate your efforts to try to resolve this. No worries, I can definitely help you with this!

To better investigate this issue, I’d like to ask for the following information:

  • When did you first notice this issue?
  • Can you confirm if the issue is happening with the built-in camera on the Nest Hub Max or a separate camera?
  • Would you mind sharing a picture of the Nest Hub Max screen? This helps us understand the negative image better.
  • If you can view the feed on your phone by using the Google Home app, does the image look normal there, or is the negative effect only on the Nest Hub Max screen?

In the meantime, let’s start by checking if you have the latest firmware version of your Nest Hub Max. Refer to this article for details: Google speaker and display firmware versions and release notes.

I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
