Nest Hub Max Stuck on G Logo

Kirk_Janetzke

Came home yesterday to my Nest Hub Max stuck on a white screen with the Google G logo. I have tried the following:

  1. A simple power cycle reboot.
  2. The unplug, plug back in, wait for logo then unplug again, repeated 10 times.
  3. Powering it up with the Vol up/down buttons pressed to attempt a reset.
  4. Moving to different power outlet.

None of these things has caused the Hub to boot any further. Was there some software push yesterday? I am not showing any power events on my other home electronics.

Hi @Kirk_Janetzke!

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Hub MAX is stuck on the “G” logo. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!

Let's try some troubleshooting steps:

  1. Please use the power adapter that came with your Nest Hub MAX and plug it into a different power source.
  2. Attempt a factory reset.

If the problem persists, let's follow the following steps:

  1. Unplug the power cord.
  2. Hold down the volume buttons and plug in the power cord at the same time while you plug the power cord back in.
  3. Wait for the device to turn on.
  4. Release the volume buttons.
  5. Once the device is in recovery mode, press and hold both volume buttons for 10 seconds.

If the problem continues, could you please provide me with the firmware version of your Nest Hub Max?

Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your answer.

Best regards,
Geremi

Perhaps read what I wrote, as I clearly state I tried all of this. I have already contacted support and am in the process of doing an RMA.
