Nest Hub Max and timers

ElTorro5150

I’ve had a Hub Max since Christmas that replaced a first generation Google Hub. The issue I have is no mater what other device I tell to set a timer the Hub Max sets the timer on itself. I used a Mini in my kitchen that is on the other side of the house from the Max so this is an issue. I’ve gone through every setting I can find, I’ve searched the internet, and tried every command I can think of. This stubborn device will not stop taking over. If I unplug it then the timer feature doesn’t work on any other device. If I uninstall it from my account and network things go back to normal. This is an issue that I’m willing to get rid of the Hub Max over. When I’m interacting with another device I want that device to do what I say, not one across the house.

I have two Google Home Speakers, one Nest Mini first generation, the Google Hub first generation, a third generation nest thermostat, and four second generation Nest Protects.
