Nest Hub Max error trying to finish configuration

As the title says, when I get to the very last step of configuration it fails. Screen comes up saying there was a problem communicating with Google. 

 

Wifi is good, same network as other devices / phone. Nothing else has an issue except this.

 

I've tried the removal, reboot, factory reset.... Nothing fixes it.

 

I was connected and kinda working for the first couple days I owned it (only 1 week old today). Sometimes the camera would go offline in the beginning, but now I cannot even finish setting it up.
