Nest Hub Max is dead

My Nest Hub Max is suddenly not getting power. Tried multiple outlets, tried holding down the volume buttons. Doesn't show up in my Home app. What gives?

Hey Prsolans,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should, let’s check this out.

A few questions: when your Google Nest Hub Max is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power? Are you still using the original power cable and adapter? Also, when did it start happening?

Give these steps a try:

Discharge the speaker or display:

  1. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker or display.
  2. Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
  3. Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
  4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
  5. Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of the speaker or display.
  6. If you have a second Nest Hub Max, try to use the power adapter from the one that currently works.

We'll be waiting for your update.

Best,

Alex
