Nest Hub Max live camera connecting issue

The live camera on Nest Hub Max is unable to be connected. If I remotely reboot the Nest Hub Max, it will resume showing the live footage for a couple minutes and then disconnected and wont be able to be reconnected.

I have tried turning on and off the power, and have tried remove the whole device and factory reset and re-set up in the Google Home app, however the same problem persist.

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how important it is to have a working built-in camera on the Google Nest Hub Max - I'd love to help.

 

A few questions:

 

  • When did the issue start?
  • How far is your Nest Hub Max from the router?
  • Are you able to stream it from the Google Home and Nest app?
  • Do you have other Nest devices like Thermostat and doorbell?

 

Let's go ahead and try setting up your Nest Hub Max again but this set it up on a new home structure. Please do not forget to remove it first from the Google Home app prior to resetting the device to avoid issues during set up.
