Nest Hub Max - personalizing home screen?

HI folks. I just purchased a Nest Hub Max, and for the life of me can't figure out how to customize the main view (Your Morning, etc.) to show weather and calendar entries as is shown in all of the main product photos for this product. Right now my main view shows my Nest thermostat, some games to play (I have no interest in this and can't dismiss it), and some tips. If I scroll over I can weather, but no calendar entry. My personal calendar is set up with Assitant. I don't want to see my thermostat since it's 6 feet away, but I can't remove this card.

 

Can someone help me figure out how to customize the home screen? It's advertised as being personalized, yet there are zero instructions on doing this. This was the sole purpose for buying this product.

Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused by the Google Nest Hub's widgets and tabs on the home screen. I understand your frustration. I would be more than happy to help answer your question.

 

Unfortunately, there is not a way to change the tabs or widgets. I tried pressing on the widgets on the Google Nest Hub itself, and it only gives me an option to open it.

 

The only thing you can customize is your lock screen/photo frame. That feature only has the option of displaying Google Photos, Art gallery, or a Fullscreen clock.
