Nest Hub interferes with Google TV

I have four Samsung TVs with four Google TV Chromecast dongles, I have four Google Minis and I just installed the nest hub version 2. For some reason when I asked the Hub a question or if I ask it to turn on the light it will automatically take my living room TV which is a Samsung that has Google Chromecast and Android TV, and no matter what I'm watching it brings the TV to the Google TV menu listing of TV shows and times. I've had this installed for today and it's happened twice. Everything's automated I have 52 devices including security lighting HVAC and for some reason this seems to like to get friendly with a Chromecast Google TV dongle

Hi EMA230,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your Nest Hub concern. I'm committed to providing you with excellent customer service and will do everything I can to help you resolve this issue. What command are you using to control your lights? Are you getting the same results from your Google Nest Minis?

Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen.

Regards,

Juni

Continues to happen, it's very strange because it only affects two or three items my Samsung TV, my Wi-Fi bulbs and will turn them on and off without even requesting it. I have 53 devices so I'm not sure Google home is built for that or that the Hardware is built for that.

Hi there,

Got it. Try to do a factory reset on your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen. This erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

Thanks,

Juni
