Have been setting up my Google Nest Hub from my iPhone. All smooth until after it's all set up from the Google Home app, the display on Hub just gets stuck at "Connected". Google Assistant still works. e.g. If I get Google to play music it does play music but the screen turns into white.

hi. i’m having the same issue of all my google/nest home devices being stuck on the “Connected” screen (Google Home Max, wi-fi router speakers, google home display).
I can cast music, and imitate the assistant with “OK Google”, but the display is stuck on “Connected” screens.
After repeated setup, removing the device, rebooting the device, rebooting the network/wi-fi… nothing works. And the devices i’m my Google Home app, show the assigned names, but no connectivity for photos or music… and asks me to setup the device. It’s a bad loop!
i was automatically locked out of all my gmail/google accounts at 5:40am, due to “suspicious activity detected”… and after setting up a new password, and signing into all my google accounts and apps, this Google Home issue surfaced.
I see this is a known issue in the past.
what can you do to help fix this? thx.

Hello peterjinhong,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues with your Google Home and Nest displays. To confirm, what is the response that you're getting from the Google speakers when you say a command? How many Nest Hub displays do you have? Also, which Nest Hub device do you have (1st,2nd gen, Hub Max)? Have you tried resetting your devices to refresh all the settings?
Keep us posted.
Cheers,
Muddi
