I'm a fan of Google products. So much so, I stopped my wife buying an Amazon hub the other day. She wanted a "smart speaker" that could play radio on a simple voice command, rather than casting or bluetooth-ing, for when her mother is here babysitting the kids.
I instead took delivery of a new Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) yesterday and very disappointed to find that TuneIn will not work.
Commands:
"Hey Google - play TodayFM on tunein"
"Hey Google - play 2FM on tunein"
The response is "I looked for TodayFM on tunein but it either isn't available or cannot be played right now"
The same happens for any radio station. It will not play via TuneIn whatsoever.
I can play tunin on my phone and it will cast to the nest hub but that isn't good enough. I need nest hub to be able to play radio without having to cast. It's what I bought it for.
Quite annoyed here. Is there a fix or should I return it?

I'm returning mine. Got the same issues. And I can't even turn off the green light on my Nest, even though it is my home I'm viewing..
Hey Robbers, heads up (*green light blinking*) even though the owner has called the cops hoping they'll catch you in the act.. I'm (*green light*) going to let you know so you can flee before the police arrive to arrest you...

Sorry to hear about what you're experiencing right now. Has anyone of you tried to perform a complete reset to their Google Nest speakers to see if there are any changes? Also, can you please tell us what country are you located at?

I have tried a full factory reset. It has no effect for this problem. TuneIn still does not work. I am in Ireland.
