Nest Hub - will it display sports scores on screen without asking it to?

I was trying to figure out if a Nest system (hub & doorbell) was worth my time & $$.

I am Sabbath observant and will not be able to touch/speak to Hub to change display. Is there a way for favorite team scores to be displayed without engaging with the unit?

Hi @challer no there isn't. If you have favorite sports teams, and you use an Android phone those scores can be pinned to the phone screen and may even send notifications. As that functionality is an Android feature, you'll have to reach out to PEs in the Android forum as it's not a function for Nest devices with the restrictions you personally observe.

Yeah, unless pinned scores get automatically displayed on the Nest Hub without my doing anything, this may not work for me.

I know Alexa Echo Show allows for automatic scroll of latest scores for favorite teams.

Yea, this isn't that device. You can submit feedback if it's a feature you'd like to see implemented. It's possible it may appear in a future update, no guarantees though.
