Changing user on home hub

Hi there, I have set up a home and added my wife as a user but she no longer has an android device. I would like to make our new nest hub use her Google account and not mine as we both have our own YouTube and Spotify accounts and this device will be mainly used by her. How can I do this?

Hey Marksathome,

I am sorry for the late reply. There's no direct way to change the home owner directly, unfortunately, but you can give yourself access to the account and devices if you'd like. But if you want to be able to remove their access in the future, then you'll need to:

  1. Create a new home
  2. Remove each device from the existing home
  3. Add them to the new home

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Jake
