Nest Mini Automations stopped

I have been using automation to play music before bed and to wake as an alarm. I went out of town last weekend and when I returned nothing will play. I have one of the actions set to adjust the volume before playing and I hear that click but then nothing. I have unplugged and replugged the mini and the wifi. I have restarted my phone. I have factory reset the mini. It still won't work. I tried adding another action to tell me the weather; that doesn't play anything, either. If I ask it to play music, it works. But the automation won't.

My best recommendation would be to create a new automation with a different name but the same actions. This often helps resolve glitches you might be experiencing.

Here is how:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Create > New automation.
3. To name your routine, tap Add name.
4. To include a description for your routine, tap Add description.
5. Please add the starters, conditions, and actions you would like.
6. Tap Save.

I have the exact same automation set up, and it fails most mornings. @Dawnette There is another active thread on this issue: Automation for Nest Hub and nest mini.
