I was traveling and my previous thread was locked. I tried everything suggested in the below link and nothing worked.

Hey Mckillio,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Mini. Please take a screenshot of the Home app’s feed history to check if there’s a recorded instance where the device unlinked. Also, do you experience any WiFi issues recently?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Muddi,

Where do I find the feed history? I'm on the Phone app preview. I looked around but couldn't find anything. Figured it would be under Activity but that doesn't look right.

Hey Mckillio,

You can follow the steps below or visit this link to learn more information about the feed history on the Google Home app.

  1. Open the Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the bottom, tap the Feed .
  3. Check the list of events and suggestions.
    • To get more details, tap an event or suggestion.
    • To take action on an event or suggestion, tap it. If multiple actions are available, tap the action you want to take.
    • To remove an event or suggestion, tap Open card options and then Dismiss.
      • Note: Dismissed events still appear in the Home history.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Muddi

Since I have the Home app preview, those instructions don't work.

Hey Mckillio,

My apologies for the delays. The events history is now the  "Activity" on Google Home public preview. Kindly check if there are instances that your Nest Mini unlink or disconnect from your account.

Cheers,

Muddi

No worries. There's nothing there and the Mini disconnected again. It told me that a factory reset was required this time which is new.

Hi Mckillio,

Thanks for the update. Could you tell us if resetting made any changes on its behavior?

Best,
Princess

It can take days to weeks to find that out. But it hasn't helped in the past.

Hi Mckillio,

Sorry about that. By any chance, do you still remember when and where did you purchase your Google Nest Mini so we can check your warranty options.

Best,

Princess

I got it at Best Buy years ago.

Hi Mckillio,

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, we can no longer replace the device since it is already out of warranty. You might want to check Google's limited warranty on this link: https://goo.gle/37W2kAE
