Turn off "Show my photo memories" suggestion

Is there a way to get my nest hub to stop suggesting "Show my photo memories" everytime I swipe on the screen? I dismiss it everytime but it continues to show up, I have 0 interest in showing my photo memories as I keep my nest hub in my bedroom.

Hi folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I understand what you'd like to happen, however this option to remove suggestion is not available on Google Nest display. Here are the only available settings that we have in photo frames on Google Nest displays.

Banner notifications

Banner notifications proactively tell you about your upcoming events, commute, reminders, flights and packages. This feature is only available in the US.

  • To receive banner notifications on your display, turn on the following settings:
  • To dismiss a notification when it’s on your display, swipe up the banner.
  • To turn off banner notifications, open Photo frame settings for your display, then set “Banner notifications” to Hide.

If you have more than one Google Account linked to your Nest display, you need to turn off banner notifications for each account.

Personal photo data

By default, your photos display information like album name, photo date, photo location and more. To hide this information, set “Personal photo data” to Hide.

In line with this, we’d like to encourage you to send a feedback regarding this and for any features that you’re looking forward to using with our Google Nest devices.

Best,

Princess
