Nest Mini - Its 2024 and there still is no option to turn off verbal responses 😒

We are approaching 2024 and there is still no option to turn off the verbal responses on Google Nest Home Mini. Absolutely ridiculous. I've tried everything. I've put all of my devices in the same room. I've created routines, etc etc etc. In the end it comes down to this....for 99% of the verbal commands any end user gives to any smart speaker, they do not desire or need to hear any kind of verbal feedback. They just want the action to be performed. That's it. And as if to add insult to injury, Google has now given us a larger selection of Google Assistant A.I. voices to choose from (these alternate voices used to have names, now they are just identified by colors) this just shows how far off the mark and detached the developers are from the end users. The problem is not that we want to hear different variations of synthetic human voices. The problem is that most end users do not want to hear any voice at all. Haven't they figured out that this was just a novelty thing for the most part? It was kind of cool for about a week or so but now everyone is over it!  Everyone is extremely familiar with the technology now and we understand this is simply a computer taking commands through sound waves rather than a keyboard. Please forget about the idea of trying to create the illusion that this "smart" speaker actually has any kind of intelligence. For the most part it is just a keyboard which can take audible commands. And that's perfectly okay because it does that quite well in most instances. So just accept that and understand what your product really is and let's all move forward. Why is this such a mind-bending proposition to accept? Jesus 'Effin Christ!!!!!
