Connecting Google Home mini to iPhone's hotspot

I can connect a Google Home mini to my iPhone's hotspot, and it works fine. The issue I am facing is that, when I power-cycle the Google Home device, it doesn't automatically reconnect. Instead, it informs me that it cannot connect to the WiFi and prompts me to enter the Google Home application again to set it up. While I can do this, and it works, I prefer it to reconnect automatically after a power cycle.  All the other Google Home devices connected to my home WiFi do reconnect automatically after a power cycle.

Has anyone encountered this problem while using their phone's hotspot and figured out how to solve it?

Hey doncarlos,

Apologies for the delayed response. Please note that using a mobile hotspot as your primary network to set up and use your Google Home Mini may not be the most reliable option due to potential issues with bandwidth, availability, data limits, and usage fees. As a result, your speakers may not automatically reconnect to the network. For optimal performance, we highly recommend using a stable and secure WiFi connection instead.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
