I use our Nest Mini to set timers and alarms when cooking so I know when to baste, turn and remove roasts from the oven. Sometimes I'll have several timers/alarms running.
On several occasions when I have asked how long left on the timer(s) I am told I don't have any set. Then 15 mins later the speaker starts beeping.
What's going on?
PS What "platform" do I select for an issue like this? iOS, Android or what?

Hi Navrig,
Thanks for reaching out. I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Let's troubleshoot your Google Nest Mini and see if we can get it resolved quickly. A few questions: when did it begin? Were there any recent changes made before it started? Are you getting the same response when you use your phone’s Google Assistant? Also, what steps have you taken so far?
Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest Mini.
Regards,
Juni

Thanks for coming back Juni.
The problem is that the issue is intermittent and I cannot recreate it on purpose. Last week we were busy with a large meal for the family with two of us cooking. We set several timers and, on this occasion, they worked perfectly well, The Hub speaker was able to tell us how much time was left when asked.
When did it start? - I can't really say, it was some time ago but my frustration levels rose enough two weeks ago to raise this post. Certainly since it first happened we have changed routers and I know that all the Google speakers and Chromecasts have been rebooted as I have worked on the house electrics requiring the power to be switched off.
Does it happen on the phone/tablet - no idea. As soon as I instigate a spoken command my phone recognises that there is a Hub nearby and allows the Hub to assume the task. I'll try it when away from the house.

Hi there,
Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
Best,
Juni
