Hi,
UK region
Devices : chromecast ultra , chromecast with remote 1080p , Google nest hub display
Issue :
When photo frame is being displayed on any of my devices it only displays on lower right corner the album name and no other info such as date and place etc on 90% of pictures.
On all my devices I definitely have the "show personal photo data" on and is tested with multiple Google account users with multiple devices .
Thr full required info is only displayed on some pictures and not on all . 90% of the pictures from the frame only displays the album name. Definitely 100% absolutely sure all the pictures have the required info to be displayed.
Please read the full post before doing a chatbot action and copy-paste some useless predefined info.
Thank you

Hello Gabe13,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you please send us a photo of the exact display you're getting and the one with the info on the display so we can compare its behavior? Also could you provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest Hub?
To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:
Looking forward to your response.
Best,
Princess

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Q1: How can I send all this info privately?
Q2: How do I unmarked an answer as recommended answer after I pressed on that button by mistake ? Edit: Q2 now answered.

Hi folks,
adamv66, thanks for posting. From what country are you contacting us? You can create a new album in your Google Photos app and then add some pictures. Make sure to check the pictures first in the gallery app and only put those pictures with complete information (date, location, name).
Gabe13, got it. I’ll let them know about it so they can get back to you right away. If you have other concerns, know that we are here to help.
Regards,
Juni

I have uploaded all the screenshots and pictures to email exchange [0-3434000035231] Your Google Support Enquiry: 0-3434000035231 ; I literally created an album named test with 1 ( ONE ) photo that certainly has all the details and tried to use it on all my devices as photo frame with the same result . Just the name of the album "Test" with no other info being displayed . Still no update from my last interaction on email , last reply was 2nd of October .

no it didnt work for me. you said: "Make sure to check the pictures first in the gallery app and only put those pictures with complete information (date, location, name)." and I was telling you all the pictures in the album have complete information. They still dont show the date/location on the nest hub max they only show the album name
10-22-2023 04:27 AM
Yep. Same for me.
On my test album it only displays the album name , on the normal album if selected it displays the info on about 5% of the pictures .
