Does anyone have any tips on how to solve an ongoing issue we are having with playing Spotify on all of our Nest speakers (Hub, and Nest Minis)?
We have a Mini (though the Hub was in there previously and we had the same issue as described below) in the living room, and our 2 year old son loves listening to kids songs on it. My Spotify account is linked to the Nest, so we can easily say "Hey Google, play (insert song name here)", and then once that song is finished, other kid friendly songs (from Pinkfong, Mother Goose Club, Story Bots etc) will then naturally play afterwards. It works for us, as my son enjoys a lot of the suggested songs and it saves us from having to ask the Nest to play another song once the first one is over, or create a playlist.
However, a consistent issue that we are running into is that where my son has a favourite song, if we ask the Nest to play it (despite the song being played literally hundreds of times in the past), the Nest will somehow play a version of the song in a different language. An example of this is the song Helicopter by Pinkfong (his current favourite, though my ears are tired of it 😄). Every time we ask the Nest to play Helicopter by Pinkfong, it will decide that despite the English version having been previously played a large amount of times, the best version to play is Helicoptoro by Pinkfong, in PORTUGESE! This has happened with numerous songs (i.e. Chinese version of Five Little Monkeys), and is intensely annoying for both us and for our son, who often throws a tantrum when the wrong version is played.
This issue has gotten worse over the last 12 months or so, and the only way we have found to get around this issue is to play a song where we know the next auto-played songs will include his favourite song, and then ask google to skip through the next songs until it gets to his desired track. Functionality-wise, this means that the Nest is practically junk as you cannot ask it to do something as it seems to change the results of the commands we give it on a whim. Not only that, but we often have to shout "Hey Google" at it, as it doesn't hear us most of the time, even when the room is completely quiet. I'm seriously considering an Alexa unless someone has a solution to this problem, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

I've created Google Home shortcuts to start playing Spotify playlists on a speaker.
Below is my YouTube video I made about initiating video and music streaming.
But this is the custom command I use for playing a particular playlist:- "Cast Michael's Top 1000 playlist Spotify on My Bedroom Display"
Streaming Remote Control for Google Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max and Chromecast.

Hi Potito,
Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear about the experience with your Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Mini. No worries help's here. For this scenario my recommendation to avoid getting the wrong results would be to create a playlist with all the songs he likes and use the command "Hey Google, play (playlist's name) in the Living room".
Let me know how that works.
Regards,
Axel
