Nest Mini not playing music

Speaker recognises voice commands etc, volume control etc etc. Spotify links to speaker but will not play, from either a voice command,my Google pixel phone, direct cast or from MacBook. 

I've tried all the usual, clearing cache, checking networks, reinstalling apps but nothing! 

Can anyone help it was working perfectly fine yesterday.

Having the same problems. Rebooting and connecting spotify can connect seemlessly between the phone desktop app and speaker but when it connects to the speaker the music will pause and pressing play does nothing but switching back to desktop can unpause fine. I can however cast my audio from my phone via the Home app and it will play fine.

Exactly this! If I cast direct from the home app which isn't exactly a simple thing. It will play but if I select the speaker through Spotify it just doesnt

Same here. I just reported it to Google via the feedback option in the Home app.
