I have a new Nest battery doorbell camera. It is not sending notifications to my Google Mini Speaker when the button is activated at the door. How can I get the Mini to sound inside the house when the doorbell is “rang”?

Hey there,
Do you have one of the new 2021 cams? If so, notifications are quite different from their earlier counterparts. You should be able to use your mini to recieve alerts, but you need to go through the settings first.
Best regards,
Brad.

Do you have the steps for each case? I’m not home and unable to check my model year

I am still unable to get the Google mini speaker to “chime” when someone rings the doorbell. I just have no way of knowing when someone is at my door unless my phone volume is turned up and so that I can hear the phone notification. I had hoped some type of “chime” would come from the speaker inside my home. Is that possible with a battery powered doorbell?

You are able to install a chime and it would work with your Nest Doorbell (battery) but by default, there is no chime for the new 2021 cams.
Best regards,
Brad
