Nest audio -pairing for stereo

I have two minis I've connected for stereo. Works fine. Just purchased a second nest audio to do the same. Can I find the pair for stereo option in audio settings... Or anywhere?  No! Theyre both connected and will play together in mono but not able to connect for stereo. Anyone had this problem? Have any suggestions?  I've rebooted switched off for 30 seconds and restarted

Hi @Gargoyl,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're looking to create a stereo pair with your second Nest Audio, as you've successfully done with your Nest Minis. It can definitely be confusing when the stereo pairing option isn't appearing in the settings as usual, and I appreciate you've already taken steps like rebooting and restarting your devices. I'm here to help you!

Before we move forward, I need some information:

  • Are all your Nest devices set up within the same home structure in your Google Home app?
  • Where are your Nest Audio speakers located in your house?
  • Please confirm that your phone and both Nest Audio speakers are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and let me know if they're on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band.
  • Besides restarting the devices, have you tried any other troubleshooting steps? If so, please share them.
  • Are there any firmware updates available for your Nest Audio speakers? If you're not sure how to check, you can find instructions in our Help Center under "Google speaker and display firmware versions and release notes."

Once you provide this information, I'll be able to assist you further.

Best regards,

Debora
