This is happening about 5 or 6 times over the course of 3 hours. I have made sure that the chromecast firmware is up to date. The devices are about 8 foot from each other with no items blocking line of sight. The firmware on the nest audio is up to date, The devices have been rebooted several times and the nest has been tested with other devices such as an up to date android phone and shows similar behaviour. The devices are both less than 1 year old. The disconnections have been constant and on going for over 6 months. Can Nest Support please provide guidance on how to fix this issue.

We're sorry to hear about what you are experiencing with your devices. Since you've mentioned that both Chromecast and Google Nest Audio keeps on disconnecting from Bluetooth, could you check if it also disconnects if you try connecting your Google Nest Audio to your phone via Bluetooth? We want to check and isolate the issue further by trying this step first.
Also, have you tried performing a complete reset to your Google Nest Audio? If not, here's how: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
