Nest audio won’t turn on or factory reset

Blindprophet

Nest audio was working great in a pair. Left town for a few days and came back to one of them not working. Have tried unplugging/plugging in (after a minute, etc). Have tried turning off and on 10 times (unplugging and plugging in, both with mute switch on and off). Have tried a different power supply, and tried power supply on different device (new supply didn’t turn on nest, and old supply powered on other nest audio unit)

I have tried to factory reset, but it isn’t working.

I have had these for about a month, live in US, have all updates done through home app. I’m lost, no lights turn on and I can’t connect it.

I can’t return due to it being a gift, will only give store credit, and the price is different now

Hi folks,

@MikeClark, thanks for the help.

@Blindprophet, we're sorry to hear that your Nest Audio won't turn on and we really appreciate you doing all the necessary steps before posting. A few questions:

  1. Are you using the official power adapter that came with the box?
  2. When you got home after a few days, did you see the LED lights on your Nest Audio or was it already down and no power?
  3. When doing the 2 types of factory reset, do lights show up?
  4. When you did the factory reset, was it the same steps as what you see on this link?

Looking forward to your responses.

Best,

Dan
