Surround with Google home

According to this post it's possible to set Google home speakers as the surround sound speakers for a Chromecast (and I'm hoping Google TV with Chromecast)

However, I'm seeing no such setting.

Given the ability of these speakers to sync, it seems a complete no brainer that they should be able to do this, and it would make great use of a couple of spares that I have kicking around.

Would love to know if it's possible and if so what I'm missing!

I totally understand that using your Nest speaker as a sound output for your Chromecast device is a great feature to use with your Nest Mini, but this isn’t available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
