I have a problem when casting from my Google Home Nest Hub (2nd gen).
I use “listen to xyz on Spotify on All Speakers” and “All Speakers” is a group linked to all google speakers AND my Google Chrome Cast 2nd Gen….
Problem is, while it starts casting, the Chrome Cast does not “wake” the TV it’s connected to, so I have to follow-up and start TV manually.
If I just use single cast to TV it works, and wakes TV…

Hi Izelube,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you tell us if this is working before on your TV? Also, have you tried to ask it a different content to cast using a different music provider? Let's make sure that all these devices are all connected to the same Wi-Fi network and TV should be on standby mode to make it work.
Keep me posted if you notice any changes on its behavior.

Princess

It has worked before, and still today, in the sense I can wake TV manually via “Hey google turn on TV” (name of my chrome cast)…
But when you cast to a speaker group where chrome cast is included, TV is not turned on - I am assuming you are not specifically sending a “turn on” command to the Chrome Cast in the speaker group…?

No, still a problem. See previous reply. Might add that, yes it’s on same wifi. Works to manually turn on TV after all…

Hi Izelube,
Thanks for the additional info. That's right, if you will cast a content on speaker group, it will not automatically turn the TV on. Make sure that the Chromecast and other devices are turned on before casting for it to work.

Princess
