bedtime routine

HELP ME

Ive had bedtime routine on my google home where i would say ok google goodnight and it would turn off all my smart devices I set up in app I.E lights,smart plugs tv etc and when said ok google goodnight it would turn off the devices what was on. but now when i say goodnight it will turn off devices that are on but then say a list of devices and say is already off. so if i have 15 devices and 1 on it would turn the 1 off and then say *device* is already off 14 times

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about this experience. Let's sort this out by answering these questions:

• When did you notice these changes on its behavior?
• Have you made any changes on your network prior experiencing this?

Let's go ahead and try first to reboot your devices simply by unplugging the Google Nest speakers as well as the router for atleast a few minutes. As soon as you plug it back, let's try the routine and see if there are any changes on its behavior.

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. To confirm, have you tried the steps provided by @Princesss? Are the lights turn off from the main switch?

Yes I’ve done all that I can control the lights from the Google home on and off. It’s just when I say goodnight the lights what are on turns off but if the Tapo devices that the items are connected to are already off google will say the table light is already off

To confirm, have you tried to unlink and relink your Tapo account from the Google Home app? This will help us refresh the connections between your devices. Also, does the same issue happen if you use the Google Assistant app on your phone?

It happened last week same network and it only does it now to Tapo devices that are off already, which is annoying so at present when I say goodnight if my table tamp or light strip is off google says the light is already off the light strip is already off goodnight. Which before it would just say goodnight
