I was getting a "duo" call on my nest home max from some unknow number for last few days but last night i noticed straight after that call, some one monitored my nest cam. I suppose some one hacked my nest device and controlling my home devices. He also turn off power socket for my tv. Can some one please help me to make it secure.
Thanks

Hey Nad707,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your device, and that someone may be using it without your permission. I wanted to jump in, and see if I could be of any help. I did find an article with more details on how to secure your account. Please let me know if that helps out, or if you are still having trouble from here.
Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake, i have already set 2-step verification for my google account and i already have changed my password after this incident. I believe no one hacked my google account but he/she used some other way to control my Nest device, i dont know how 😪 but i am really worries because all my switches, sockets, tv and other devices are connected to my nest hub max. That person once switched off my tv's power socket also which means he had full control on my devices.
Thanks

Hi Nad707,
Sorry to hear about this. By any chance, have you already tried to perform a complete reset to your device? If not, let's go ahead and try that to see if that will make any changes, Lastly, I would also recommend to change your Wi-Fi password for added security.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Princess

Hi Muhammad,
Thanks for the update. As long as no one is connected on your Wi-Fi other than you, accessing the Google speakers is not possible for others. I'll keep this thread open for 3 more days and let's keep on monitoring it. Feel free to update this thread if you notice the same thing as before.
Best,
Princess
