Nest hub 2nd gen cannot active sleep sensing

  • I can't see sleep sensing in Google home app under display settings
  • The display screen the sleep sensing is inactive
  • Click "send Link to phone" open Google home app
  • Repeat from No.1

Ok, how to resolve this?

I have reset the device several times, and setup as a new many times.

I discovered if you have more than one nest in your home, sleep sensing will only activate on one unit under your Google account. I logged under my wife's Google account and sleep sense activated and that unit.

Really? I have two nest displays at home. I will try it with my other google account.

Yes, it is correct. While I logon my another google account I can active the sleep sense. Probably Google think I can only sleep at one place.

If you only want sleep sensing on one of the devices, you'll need to turn the other one off in order to do the calibration.

Once you've completed it, you can turn the other hub back on and both (should) work fine.
