Nest hub Ver 2 will not set Samsung soundbar as preferred speaker.

I have Nest Hub 2nd gen and a Samsung  Q800C 5.1.2 soundbar which I cannot set up as preferred speaker on my Nest Hub. I also have 4 other Google Nest Mini's all in the same Home Group together with the Nest hub. I can set up all the other speakers as preferred speakers, so I know all is fine with the bluetooth and the soundbar, it is just the Hub that is not allowing me to do it. Do you have any suggestions.

Kind Regards,

Ian B

Hello COALLESSA,

Thanks for posting! To confirm, have you tried setting your Samsung Q800C as the default speaker for other Google speakers? Also, are you able to successfully connect your soundbar to your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) and play music? If you haven't tried yet, please consider rebooting your Nest display and see if the issue persists.

Cheers,
