Bought a Nest Hub 2nd gen yesterday and have a Nest Doorbell (batter). When the doorbell is pressed, the screen will say "camera feed is not available" . The hub will ring and say someone is at the door. Phones will display the video just fine as a notification. If I ask the hub to display the video it works fine - only issue is it won't display the camera feed when the doorbell is pressed. Anyone know how to fix?

I'm having the same problems. Also my nest hub camera just won't work at all, but is otherwise fine except for this issue.

+1 on this. I am having the same issue on both Nest Hub 2nd Gen and also my Nest Hub Gen 1. Can access camera feed on phone and hub if I chose to, but will show error when doorbell is pressed, no video feed.

Just setting up my Nest Hub and having the same issue

In case this helps, I just figured out my issue.
As a new device, the Nest Hub had been put into the default profile of my content filtering/parental control solution. In my case, this is Circle which comes as part of my Netgear Orbi WiFi system.
I changed the Nest Hub to a regular profile and I can now see the Nest Hello Camera feed.

+1 I am also experiencing the exact same issue with my Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen. Just purchased. Video streams fine when I navigate to the camera, but I get the same “Camera feed is not available” message when someone rings the doorbell.

Hey folks,
Do ya'll have the Google Home App? The video streaming for the new cameras are only available in the Google Home App. The Nest Hub and all newer models are ran through the Nest system. You will not be able to use the Camera on the Nest Hub unless you have found some back way in. I do not know of another method I am afraid, but if you do, you are welcome to share. In the meantime, thank you for all of your feedback on the matter!
Best Regards,
Brad.

Video works fine on the app…that is not the issue. Everything I had read indicated the Nest doorbell would work with the Nest Hub. Not sure why everything I read shows me it does if it really does not. Really makes no sense. Makes me want to go get a system that will work and dump Google altogether…

I have the home app. Video works fine on phone, app, and Hub when I ask it to show it. The only time it will not show on my Hubs (1 gen and also 2nd gen) is when the doorbell rings, I get the audio cue on hubs, then it switches to video feed but only shows video not available. Video works fine on all devices when prompted by me, but not on hubs when doorbell is rung.

I've had a Google hub for a while and I've always been able to see the camera on the Google hub. This just started about a week or so ago where when someone rings the doorbell the video does not come up on the screen and it says it's unavailable. However it works perfectly fine on my phone.
