I have recently bought the Google nest hub max and although it's set up correctly I can't seem to get the camera to work or connect. I have read through previous threads, reset and restarted the hub multiple times yet it still dosnt connect. I have spent hours a d hours going round I circles to come to the same conclusion. Pleade let me know if anyone has any solutions before I take it back and swap for another brand.

I had a similar issue after factory resetting my Hub Max. It would try and setup the camera but ultimately stall out and say it cannot connect. After extensive research and talks with Google Support, finally came up with a solution that worked.
1) Reboot your router
2) Update your router’s DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 and disable IPv6
3) Restart your router with these settings and try to setup the Nest Cam on the Hub Max again.
This solved my issue, hopefully it works for you!

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to help me on this. I have tried all of the above and still have no luck. I can't change the router settings as apparently sky do not let customers have access to this anymore. Any suggestions appreciated

Hey Sturew,
We're sorry for the trouble, are you getting any message when setting up the camera of your Google Nest Hub Max? Do you have any other camera connected to your Nest Hub Max? Also, could you provide us the cast firmware and fuchsia version of your device?
Thanks,
Alex

The hub is always showing as offline or can't connect to Google network. I have reset and reinstalled multiple times.
Firmware version 9.20221010.3.176
Cast firmware 1.67.330920
These are the only details I can seem to find.
Thanks

Hi Princess
I have filled in the form as requested.

If your Google Nest Hub Max camera is not working, refresh the device and check the network status. Check the firmware version and ensure proper camera settings on the Nest Hub Max. If none of these work, remove and re-add the Nest device from the Google Home app
