Nest hub completing task, but says there is a glitch

For some reason everytime I ask the neat hub to complete a task for the past day or so,from turning on/off lights to a routine, or just asking the weather it'll do what I ask it and anywhere from 30 seconds later to 6 minutes later it'll say "Sorry, there's been a glitch.  Try again in a few seconds."

"Hey Google, what's the weather like."

"Today in Town it'll be 75 and sunny."

......30 seconds to minutes later.

"Sorry, there's been a glitch.  Try again in a few seconds."

It's really annoying.

I've tried rebooting it multiple times, I've tried the KB troubleshooting articles.  It just keeps saying it even though it's working just fine.

If I just use my phone's assistant, works just fine, no error reported while on same network.  It's not 3rd party integration devices because it happens when running tasks that are based on the device itself.

It gets really annoying when we ask it to play some sort of media, have it be playing just fine, them interrupt minutes later to say it's not working, then go right back to playing said media on the device

The other strange thing about it is that it only uses that single error message, when things truly aren't working it will rotate between the other error messages of "something went wrong..." Etc.

But when it works just fine it only uses the "glitch" error message.

Hey Kulprit,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is when you keep on getting those messages after your Google Nest Hub does the actions. A few questions: when did the issue start? Which specific Nest Hub are you having an issue with (1st or 2nd gen)? What is the current firmware version?

To eliminate network issue, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Nest Hub).

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
