Nest hub error

Hi I bought a Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen and connected with my Google home app. Unfortunately I get the following error when I try to link the Google Account: The operation couldn’t be completed (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)

please assist me to fix this, so I can use the device.

I reset the device and retried, but the issue is still not resolved

Google Nest Support:

It is really long past time for Google Nest to provide a solution to this recurring problem on the Google Nest Help website (https://support.google.com/googlenest/).

First, it is simply silly for a customer to get an error that reads: "The operation couldn’t be completed (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)". Google Nest's software should be catching this error and producing a meaningful error message.

Second, since Google Nest is not providing a meaningful message, you owe it to your customers to document why this is occurring and how to correct it.

Instead, all that customers have to go on are various suggestions from other customers.

It seems that if you have another nest device is connected to the google account, this error occurs.

@Dilsyb24

That's not the cause of this error. We have multiple Nest Hubs, a Nest Mini, cameras, and doorbells, and have never encountered the error. Google Nest needs to explain the cause of this error.

Hey everyone,

My apologies for the delayed response. I understand the frustration when encountering difficulties during device setup. Let's work together to resolve this. I have a few questions: Is this your first time setting up the device? Which country are you located in? Are you using a personal or business account?

Please change your device language to EN_US. If the issue persists, try using a different account to see if you encounter the same message.

@MplsCustomer: I appreciate your help here.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi All,

This is happening to all my devices. I have factory reset the devices ( which I wish I didn't ) the HUb Max was acting weird. and now all 3 other mini hubs are out of action and can't be removed, or linked.  Since you guys all have the same issues and Google is pretty quiet about this, I am suspicious that hacking or a measure outage is going on. My home apps were working well up until last Tuesday. @google you better come up with a simple solution or my devices will be useless.
