Hi!
I am writing to you as I am desperate. I purchased a Google nest hub max coal 3 months ago and since last week, the camera is not working.
Basically, the green light is not appearing anymore and when I try to connect from my phones (android and iphone), on Google home or nest, it says camera offline and I can't switch to connect to it.
Also, the camera can see me as when I put my face next to it, it recognizes me and shows "good morning."
I did the factory reset, uninstall everything several times, unplug, remove the hub from my home but nothing would change it.
Please help me ! Thanks!
Ben

Hey Ben, I had this happen to me once when I changed my Wi-Fi, I called Google & they suggested sliding the reset button back & forth. Is that what you were talking about when you said you did the factory reset?

I maintained the sounds buttons for 10 sec
I unsetuped again and click on"+" and that time it worked 🙂

Hi folks,
@Sillyviet, thanks for the help.
@Benjamin2, thanks for posting. I’m glad your issue is resolved now. Users can turn the camera off, or disable both the camera and microphone directly on their Nest Hub Max. When this is done, other members of your household will not be able to remotely turn on the camera or microphone.
Note: While the microphone is disabled, you won’t be able to use voice commands. While the camera is disabled, you won’t be able to use the built-in Nest Cam or any camera sensing features, including Quick Gestures and Face Match.
Check this link for more informatoin.
I’ll keep this thread open for 1 more day. If you need further help, let me know.
Thanks,
Juni

Set up Nest Hub Max's Nest Cam
Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold the Nest Hub Max for which you'd like to set up the Nest Cam.
At the bottom, tap Set up Nest Cam.
Follow the on-screen directions and when prompted, use your mobile device's camera to scan the QR Code displayed on your Nest Hub Max.
Regards,
Will
