Hi there.
We have multiple Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) in our house hold. Sleep sense is working on one device in one bedroom but I cannot get it working on another device in another bedroom. I think this is because it is all connected on the same google account.
How can I get sleep sense working on a 2nd device within one household?
thanks for you help.

Hey JaneB,
Thanks for posting.
If you own multiple Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) devices: Sleep Sensing only works on the first Nest display you set up. Also, this feature is only available for one Google Account at a time.
To use Sleep Sensing on multiple Nest Hub (2nd gen) devices, you must set up the Nest Hub (2nd gen) on a different Google account for each device they want to use Sleep Sensing on. Check this link for more information.
Best,
Alex

Hi JaneB,
Good to know that the sleep sensing is now working on your Nest Hub 2nd Gen however, in order for the other Nest Hub 2nd Gen to have sleep sensing activated, as mentioned above, will need to have a different account. It will only work under a single account.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Dan

Thanks Dan. Yes the other hub is linked to a different account. Google home says the device has sleep sense set up but when I go to calibrate it says sleep sense needs to be set up on this device. Even though it already is?? Any ideas on how to help please. Thank you

Hey there,
We're sorry to hear that. For confirmation, one Nest Hub 2nd Gen with sleep sensing activated, is set up on one phone. And you're now trying to set up the sleep sensing of another Nest Hub 2nd Gen, on a different account using a different phone with a newly installed Google Home app, correct? For calibration, these are the steps:
If the issue persists, we might need to revert that specific Nest Hub to its default and original settings by doing a factory reset.
Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks Dan, I actually have both devices linked to one phone, one google home app but on separate accounts in the google home app. Should that work or must it be on a different phone??

Hi JaneB,
It will work on either 2 phones with two different accounts and it will also work on one phone however, you need to set up one Nest Hub 2nd Gen on one account, then switch to a different account and set up the other Nest Hub. Also a reminder, both devices will not be able to communicate with each other because they're not on the same page. Try it and tell me how it goes.
Cheers,
Dan
