Hello my google nest hub is showing a very low quality screen resolution since several weeks ago. The display is now like a very bad quality screen ... I restarted it and unplug for 10s an so on, but I'm still facing the same issue.

Hi JimmyProton,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Google Nest Hub and the screen resolution. But no need to worry, help is here.

Before we get started with further troubleshooting, let me ask you some important details:

  1. When did the behavior start?
  2. What device do you have? (1st Generation or 2nd Generation)
  3. What's the Fuchsia version of your display?

Forced Reboot:

  1. Power Down: Unplug the power cable from your Nest Hub.
  2. Wait it Out: Allow at least 30 seconds (some recommend a full minute) for the device to completely power down.
  3. Re-plug and Wait: Plug the power cable back in and wait patiently for a few minutes. A simple power cycle can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

Nest Device Firmware: Update Firmware: Check for any available firmware updates for your Nest devices. Sometimes, updates can resolve language-related issues. Check for Software Updates: Ensure both the Google Nest Hub and Google Home app are up-to-date.

Reset Nest Speaker: If none of the above solutions work, you might Factory reset your Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.

Please keep me posted.

Best,

Mario
